Understanding the deeper patterns behind how the body looks, feels, and functions.

The pelvic floor is often only talked about in relation to bladder leakage, but its role in the body is much more extensive.

It is a foundational part of your core system and works closely with the abdominal muscles, lower back, and hips to stabilize the body. Because of this, it plays a direct role in posture, movement, and overall strength.

When the pelvic floor is not functioning properly, it can lead to more than just control issues. People may experience back discomfort, reduced core strength, changes in balance, or even difficulty generating power during exercise.

For both men and women, it also plays an important role in sexual function, which is often overlooked in standard discussions.

A common misconception is that pelvic floor issues are only something to address after symptoms become significant. In reality, early support can improve function and prevent progression.

Looking at the pelvic floor as part of a larger system—rather than an isolated issue—leads to more complete and meaningful improvement.
